E C H’s Daoust 301’s with clear 280cm TUUK holders. 30+ years later I still prefer to skate with the same TUUK’s on Nike Quest 1’s (designed by Mark Ford.) There’s something about the shape and feel that was perfect from the beginning. Shout out to my good friend and fellow hockey nutter Christopher Kern.

Grew up in Boston idolizing Gerry Cheevers, Bobby Orr and playing hockey since I was 3. We were the perennial state champs for years and then one day played the Canadian Girls Team in the equivalent of our league for an exhibition match, and were duly slayed 8-2.
I am most definitely not Canadian.
